Canyon View

The more traditional views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone are from Artist or Lookout Points looking to the west toward the magnificient Lower Falls. Such views are definitely worth enjoying in the morning. In the late afternoon, the views in the other direction can also be spectacular. The image below is from the brink of the Lower Falls down about 600 feet into the canyon (and just over 300 feet from the bottom).

A few month ago I visited this canyon through the Get Bus Tour. I take a spectacular view a of Yellowstone Canyon view. The rock formation draws the entire concentration to it.
